Thumbtack Studios is a full-service, flexible consortium of professional web developers, photographers, copywriters, and other marketing specialists with design and creative direction provided by Kevin Hoelscher.

I hold an undergraduate business degree in marketing and entrepreneurship. After graduation, I worked for four years in mortgage banking and equities valuations during the famed "roaring nineties" before returning to school for a master's degree in Architecture.

At about the same time I entered graduate school, I also co-founded an award-winning, boutique winery in Northern California and served as a managing director from the company's inception in 2001 until a private investor purchased the winery in 2007.

In 2002, I began working with individual clients on various graphic design projects, including printed promotional materials, logo design, and web development. After completing my master's degree in 2005, I focused my attention on the needs of my clients.

Drawing on more than ten years of professional experience in marketing and entrepreneurship, I've worked closely with a wide variety of clients, including fledgling companies, non-profits, and artists/designers.
